About The Artist
Hi! I’m Lexy Maria, a self-taught fine artist. Mainly working with acrylic and oil paints but sometimes exploring with new materials, such as plaster to create multimedia works.
My art journey began, well, since the day I was born. From drawing on the walls and windows as a toddler to making sticky note sculptures in elementary school. Discovering the wonders of colors in middle school and becoming serious about art in high school. All up to now, where my desire is to make anything that comes to my mind real. No matter how difficult or ambitious it seems. Whether that be using new materials or bending the rules just a little bit.
Each painting is curated with a passion to display my dreams and conceptions into reality.
What you see is not simply paint on a canvas or plaster on a board. It is a story with layers of ups and downs and detailed chapters all leading up to one big picture.
With the stroke of a paintbrush, dab of imagination and a pinch of glitter. I dream to create works everyday to inspire and spread the beauty of creativity, while sharing it with those who may enjoy to see it.
